Bali - Single Origin

Sourced from the volcanic highlands of central Bali, this single origin coffee offers a distinctive balance of depth, structure, and clarity. Grown at elevation in the Kintamani Highlands, the coffee is produced by smallholder farmers organized through Subak Abian, a traditional Balinese cooperative system rooted in community, shared resources, and sustainable agriculture. The volcanic loam soils and cooler mountain climate contribute to the coffee’s layered complexity and refined sweetness.

In the cup, rich baker’s chocolate forms the foundation, followed by bright orange peel that adds lift and contrast. Subtle notes of juniper spice introduce an herbal nuance, while a deep molasses sweetness rounds out the profile. The body is smooth and well-structured, finishing clean with a lingering richness that stays balanced from start to finish.

Harvested between May and October, the coffee is hand-picked at peak ripeness, wet-hulled, and sun-dried in two stages on raised beds. This careful process preserves clarity while enhancing body and sweetness.
